Polish municipalities upgrade street lighting with LED installations

The Gmina Grodzisk Mazowiecki council awarded a contract to Linter Energia to install 55 LED streetlight poles and underground power lines across several streets, including a segment on Planetarna in Kozerki with 11 new fixtures. The project, valued at about 1.3 million PLN, is scheduled for completion within 11 months and aims to improve road visibility and safety for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

In the neighboring Gmina Maciejowice, two separate lighting initiatives were completed. The first added eight LED poles in Antoniówka Świerżowska under the Mazowiecki Instrument Aktywizacji Sołectw program, costing over 43 thousand PLN, partially funded by the regional budget. The second phase installed 11 hybrid solar‑wind lamps with storage in the villages of Topolin, Wróble‑Wargocin, Podwierzbie and Kawęczyn, financed largely by the Mazowiecki Instrument Wsparcia Adaptacji do Zmian Klimatu, with a total outlay close to 200 thousand PLN. Both projects are intended to modernise lighting, reduce energy consumption and enhance local safety.
