Polish Parishes and Pilgrims Celebrate Fatima with New Masses and Processions

On July 4, 2026, the parish of Christ the King in Sanok, Poland, held a Fatima service that began with a Mass celebrated by Fr. Zbigniew Góra. The priest urged the faithful to maintain a spiritual connection during the vacation period, emphasizing that rest should not be separated from God. After the Mass, a procession featuring a statue of the Virgin Mary and lanterns moved through the town’s streets, allowing participants to pray the rosary and sing Marian hymns.

Separately, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal announced that, starting October 3, 2026, a daily Mass in Polish will be celebrated at 7:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Apparitions. The initiative, presented by Bishop Piotr Przyborek of the Polish Episcopal Conference, will run throughout the summer and give priority to Polish pilgrim groups from November to Easter. The provision aims to strengthen the spiritual experience of Polish visitors and includes additional support services for them at the shrine.
