Polish police record several road accidents in Radom and Mysłowice

The Radom municipal police reported four traffic collisions and twenty minor incidents over the weekend of 12‑13 June. On 12 June, a 34‑year‑old driver of a Peugeot collided with a cyclist on Słowackiego Street, sending the cyclist to hospital. The same day an 18‑year‑old driver of a Toyota lost control in Iłża, rolled into a ditch and hit a tree, sustaining injuries. In Zalesice Kolonia, a 25‑year‑old Toyota driver also lost control and rolled over. On 13 June a 52‑year‑old Nissan driver crashed head‑on with a BMW driven by a 21‑year‑old; the younger driver was hospitalized. Police are investigating the causes of each crash.

In Mysłowice on 14 June, a 51‑year‑old woman without a driving licence and with a blood‑alcohol level above 2 ‰ drove a Kia, lost control, struck a road sign and rolled onto a private fence. Both the driver and a 42‑year‑old passenger escaped serious injury. The driver faces charges for driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without a licence.
