Polish police seize counterfeit clothing and arrest fuel theft suspect

Police in Wrocław confiscated more than 500 pieces of counterfeit clothing and footwear bearing forged brand logos at a market in the Old Town. The seized merchandise is valued at at least 170,000 zł, and the 60‑year‑old suspect, a Bulgarian national, faces up to two years in prison.

In Sulęcin, officers arrested a 42‑year‑old man suspected of stealing fuel from two petrol stations. Surveillance footage helped locate the suspect, and police recovered about 650 litres of stolen diesel. He has been charged with theft, carrying a potential sentence of three months to five years.
