Polish police seize drugs in Szczecin and charge suspects in Nowa Dęba

Police officers from the Szczecin City Police seized more than 1.3 kilograms of illegal substances, including marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, amphetamine and mephedrone, during a targeted operation. Two men were arrested, their cases were sent to a court and both were placed in pre‑trial detention.

In a separate investigation, the Nowa Dęba Police Department concluded a multi‑year probe into drug‑related crime in the Subcarpathian region. Prosecutors filed 62 charges against 11 suspects – among them a Ukrainian citizen – for offenses ranging from trafficking and distribution of narcotics to cultivation of non‑industrial cannabis and production of psychotropic substances. The case has been forwarded to a court for trial.
