Polish police seize illegal marijuana and 13,000 e-cigarettes
Polish police have conducted two separate operations targeting illegal goods. In Otwock, officers from the Juvenile and Pathology Unit discovered an illegal marijuana plantation in a forested area. They seized 35 cannabis plants weighing over 3.5 kilograms, which were reportedly intended for sale to students at local primary schools in Józefów.
In Legnica, police working with the Lower Silesian Customs and Tax Office seized over 13,000 illegal disposable e-cigarettes. The products lacked required Polish excise markings and were intended for the black market. A 32-year-old resident of Legnica was detained in connection with the seizure. Preliminary estimates suggest the loss to the state treasury in excise tax and VAT could exceed 2 million PLN.
