Poland political polls show KO leading amid rising right-wing support

Recent political polling in Poland reveals significant shifts in the landscape ahead of the 2027 parliamentary elections. Koalicja Obywatelska (KO) remains the leading force with approximately 33.5% support, though it faces a decline in popularity. In contrast, right-wing groups are gaining ground; Konfederacja has risen to 15.8%, and Grzegorz Braun’s Konfederacja Korony Polskiej has reached 10.5%. Meanwhile, current coalition partners such as PSL and Polska 2050 are polling below the electoral threshold.

Regarding leadership, a United Surveys by IBRiS poll indicates that 72.9% of respondents believe Prime Minister Donald Tusk will remain in office until the end of the current parliamentary term. In a separate poll by Pollster Institute, Radosław Sikorski was identified as the preferred KO candidate for Prime Minister with 35% support, ahead of Tusk at 29%.

Internal government pressure is also evident. Minister of the Interior Marcin Kierwiński faces significant public criticism, with nearly 46% of respondents suggesting he should resign. Additionally, political tensions have escalated between Tusk and opposition figures regarding national security programs and the role of international alliances in Polish defense.
