Polish politicians Marcin Witko and Grzegorz Braun address political affiliations

Marcin Witko, the President of Tomaszów Mazowiecki, has officially confirmed his membership in the Rozwój Plus Association, an organization linked to former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Witko, who left the Law and Justice (PiS) party in January, praised Morawiecki’s focus on national development and cited previous government support for local infrastructure, such as hospices and housing, as motivation for his decision.

In a separate political development, Grzegorz Braun, leader of the Konfederacja Korony Polskiej, responded to suggestions that he should join a government led by Mateusz Morawiecki. Addressing comments made by Marek Jakubiak, Braun stated that his current focus remains on implementing his party’s national strategy and independence program rather than seeking government roles. He emphasized the importance of Polish interests remaining independent of foreign influence from both Moscow and Washington.
