Polish polls show declining support for Donald Tusk and government

Recent opinion polls indicate declining public support for Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his governing coalition in Poland.

A survey conducted by OGB for Polsat News and Newsmax Polska shows that 47% of respondents rate the government poorly, while 33.2% rate it positively. Among those surveyed, the most common emotion associated with the government is “disappointment” (24.8%), followed by “indifference” (22.7%) and “anger” (18.7%).

Separate data from the Pollster Institute for Super Express suggests even lower approval for Tusk personally, with 53% of respondents rating his performance as a head of government negatively and 33% rating it positively. Interestingly, the polls indicate that Tusk’s individual approval rating is slightly higher than the approval rating for his entire cabinet, which saw a 29% positive rating in the same study.
