Polish schools receive digital education grants and new multimedia equipment

The Polish "Cyfrowy Uczeń" (Digital Student) programme allocated 55 million PLN this year for schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions. Regional education authorities have begun publishing lists of eligible establishments, and funds are to be transferred to schools by the end of July, with spending required by the end of 2026.

In the Lubacz County, a separate allocation under the EU NextGenerationEU recovery plan provided 186 multimedia devices—including tablets, webcams, microphones and headphones—for local schools. The equipment, valued at 37,786.83 PLN, aims to improve digital teaching capacities and support remote or hybrid lessons.
