Polish schools receive new funding and network support to boost inclusion and resilience
The Puck municipality approved more than 113,000 zł for the primary school in Połchowo under the government’s “Friendly School” programme (2025‑2027). The grant will finance a full‑time multicultural assistant to help pupils arriving from different language backgrounds integrate into the Polish school system.
Separately, the Ministry of Education’s Development Centre in Warsaw launched a coordinated system of Specialized Centres Supporting Inclusive Education (SCWEW) across four regional networks. The initiative, announced on 25 June 2026, aims to strengthen schools’ social resilience by providing teachers with rapid, practical tools and resources, including e‑materials from the Integrated Educational Platform. The programme targets schools in all sixteen Polish voivodeships and is supported by EU funds.
