Polish security forces conduct training in Bieszczady and Lublin

Approximately 30 counter-terrorism officers from various Polish police units, including those from Lublin, Kielce, Radom, Łódź, and Warsaw, participated in specialized training in the Bieszczady region. Organized by the Rzeszów Counter-Terrorism Unit, the exercises focused on ‘green tactics’—operating in open, non-urban terrain. Under the guidance of former Komandos instructors, officers practiced reconnaissance, obstacle navigation, and apprehending dangerous individuals, including night operations using night vision equipment.

In a separate regional development, the 2nd Lublin Territorial Defence Brigade (WOT) welcomed 200 volunteers for its ‘Vacations with WOT’ project. The group consists of 172 new recruits undergoing 16-day basic training and 28 reserve soldiers in refresher courses. This summer recruitment brings the total number of trainees for the project to nearly 390, with a focus on weapons handling, tactics, and field medicine.
