Poland's ABW detains two 16-year-olds for neo-Nazi radicalization

The Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW), in cooperation with local police, has detained two 16-year-old boys in connection with online neo-Nazi radicalization and extremism.

The first individual, Kacper K., was apprehended in Sosnowiec on September 13. Investigators found him to be an active participant in extremist groups on platforms such as Telegram and Discord. Digital forensics revealed materials containing neo-Nazi, racist, and anti-Semitic content, as well as documentation regarding terrorist attacks, mass killings, and lone-wolf shooters.

A second teenager, Wiktor Ś., was detained in Będzin on September 16. Authorities determined he was part of the same online circles and had attempted to sell items featuring Third Reich symbolism to Kacper K. Following court decisions, Kacper K. has been placed in a juvenile shelter for three months, while Wiktor Ś. has been sent to a police juvenile center.

The ABW is continuing its investigation to map out the full network of contacts and determine if other individuals influenced the radicalization process.
