Polish shopping parks expand with new Lidl and HalfPrice outlets

The Karuzela shopping centre in Lubliniec, Silesia, completed a major expansion that added 8,000 m² of retail space, bringing the total gross leasable area to about 16,500 m². The new wing will host additional tenants such as Lidl, HalfPrice, Meble Bodzio, Xtreme Fitness and a café, and includes 240 extra parking spaces.

In Nysa, developer P.A. Nova sold its shopping park on Szlak Chrobrego. The 10,000 m² centre, built on a former Nysa Motor factory site, features 400 parking spots and ten retail units. Its tenant mix also includes Lidl, HalfPrice, Martes Sport, Sinsay, Woolworth and other brands. The transaction is valued at roughly 33 % of the group's reported revenue.
