Polish singer Doda addresses personal relationships and Ukraine criticism at Mega Camp press conference

Polish pop star Doda opened a press conference for her DODA MEGA CAMP wellness retreat at the five‑star Heron Live Hotel in Gródek nad Dunajcem. The five‑day program, priced at 7,500 zł for a double room and an additional 2,640 zł for a single, combines intensive training, workshops and mental‑health sessions. During her remarks she revealed details of a past relationship with a narcissist, saying she had to rebuild herself for a year after the psychologically abusive partnership.

In the same event Doda responded to online criticism that linked her views to the political right. She criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s decision to honour a Ukrainian Armed Forces unit with a name referencing the UPA, stating that as a Pole she feels obliged to remember the victims of the Volhynian massacres. She displayed the Polish flag on 11 July, the National Day of Remembrance of those victims, and said, “Nie jestem ani z lewej, ani z prawej” and that she has no intention of entering politics.
