Polish Singer Doda Faces Criminal Probe Over Health Supplement Claims

Poland's public prosecutor in Warsaw has opened a criminal investigation into singer Doda for allegedly breaching pharmaceutical law by promoting a supplement that she claimed could help people with Hashimoto's disease. Doda has missed three scheduled interrogations as a suspect, and a new hearing is set for the end of July. Prosecutors are considering charges under article 130 of the pharmaceutical act, which could carry up to five years in prison if an indictment is filed.

Separately, Doda publicly praised young vocalist Roksana Węgiel, describing her as a positive role model who sticks to her values. Węgiel responded, thanking Doda and emphasizing her own commitment to personal principles.

The investigation highlights concerns over misleading health product advertising, while the exchange between the two singers reflects ongoing media attention on Doda’s statements.
