Polish summer music festivals showcase jazz and international acts

The 11th Young Arts Festival will take place on 17‑18 July at the Aeroklub Podkarpacki hangar in Krosno, featuring a diverse lineup that includes Grammy‑winning soul singer Ledisi, the Paktofonika Orkiestra, pianist Marcin Masecki with his Boleros project, and cellist Dobrawa Czocher. The festival aims to blend jazz, soul, classical, electronic and hip‑hop sounds, continuing its reputation for genre‑crossing programmes.

Meanwhile, the IX edition of the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival in Wrocław runs through July with more than 30 concerts across parks, city beaches, hotels and rooftops. Organisers highlight the finale on 29 July at the roof of the Wroclavia complex, where the Marek Napiórkowski Trio will perform, offering a high‑profile closing to the month‑long jazz marathon.
