Polish Survey Finds 57% Support Clear Crypto Regulations to Boost Trust

A survey conducted by UCE Research for Kanga Exchange shows that 57.4% of adult Poles believe that introducing clear regulations for the cryptocurrency market, including defining the liability of crypto exchanges, would increase their confidence in investing in digital assets. Conversely, 24.9% oppose such regulation and 17.7% have no opinion.

Experts note that while transparent rules are seen as a signal of legitimacy, they do not eliminate investment risk. They stress the need for financial education and caution that regulatory measures may clash with core crypto values such as privacy and decentralisation. incidents cited include the recent hacking of regulated stablecoins USDR and EURR, and the collapse of licensed entities on the domestic market.

The study identifies two respondent groups: a larger public segment that views regulation as a safety net, and a smaller, more experienced cohort that worries about AML requirements and restrictions on privacy‑focused coins.
