Polish towns hold council sessions on mayor reports and budget reviews

The Jarocin City Council will meet on 16 June to debate the municipality’s 2025 state report, examine the previous year’s budget execution and vote on granting mayor Urszula Wyremblewska‑Korzyniewska an absolution. Agenda items include the audit opinion of the Regional Accounting Chamber, discussion of municipal property, and standard post‑session reports.

In Rejowiec Fabryczny, mayor Gabriel Adamiec presented a financial report showing a 2025 budget surplus of over 266 thousand zł and total revenues exceeding 37 million zł. Investments amounted to roughly 10 million zł, covering energy‑transition projects, sewage‑treatment upgrades, and public safety equipment. Council members questioned waste‑management costs, the influx of external sewage, and criticized the extent of new investments, while opposition deputies claimed many projects were continuations of previous administrations.

Both meetings illustrate local Polish authorities’ focus on fiscal transparency, infrastructure development and political accountability within municipal governance.
