On 30 May the Poznań Centre for Specialist Medical Services organised the annual "Biała Sobota" health fair, offering residents free preventive examinations such as mammography, cytology, EKG, vision tests, chest X‑ray, various ultrasounds, bone‑density scans and AI‑based skin analyses. The event also provided childcare entertainment, massages and nutrition advice, with all services funded by the city budget.
In Wieluń, the second County Medical Picnic took place in Żwirki & Wigury Park, featuring free medical consultations, screenings and lectures. organisers – the local hospital, a high school and the county office – highlighted early‑life health education; Anna Freus, hospital director, said "care for health must begin as early as possible," while school director Renata Tatara stressed the importance of early preventive habits. The picnic also showcased a lipid‑disorder clinic and other specialist services.
Both events aim to promote preventive health care and encourage families to engage in regular health checks.
