Polish towns Leszno and Jabłonna introduce new public‑transport information and ticketing systems

In Leszno, the municipal transport authority completed the installation of 11 modern electronic passenger information boards at major bus stops. The system, integrated with the city’s electric and hybrid buses, provides real‑time arrival data and a voice‑readout function for visually impaired users. Funding of approximately 15.5 million PLN came from the national Recovery Plan and the European Funds for Sustainable Urban Mobility, with the project carried out by R&G PLUS.

In Jabłonna, a 24‑hour ticket vending machine was opened on the Przylesie estate, allowing residents to purchase bus tickets at any time without visiting a sales point. The device aims to simplify commuting to Warsaw and nearby areas and was praised by county councilor Karol Urbaniak as a practical improvement for local mobility.
