Polish universities launch international summer school and drone pilot training programs

From 2–11 July 2026 the campus of Politechnika Białostocka will host its International Summer School, bringing together about 160 students and over 20 foreign lecturers. The program offers three courses on sustainable construction, energy efficiency and urban resilience, with participants from Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas.

On 9 July 2026 the rector of the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Jarosław met the LANISTA training centre team to review two completed drone‑pilot courses and to announce a third edition starting 11 July. The courses have equipped participants with practical skills in building, configuring and operating FPV drones, as well as knowledge of regulations and certification for A1/A3 and upcoming A2 categories. Plans include a new study track on unmanned aerial systems for the faculty of Automation and Practical Electronics.
