Maranhão political candidates hold major mobilization events

Political candidates and leaders in Maranhão are conducting extensive mobilization efforts across the state. Orleans Brandão, a candidate for Governor, held major events in Itinga do Maranhão and Imperatriz. In Itinga, Brandão received support from Mayor Leny Paula do Quininha and pledged to equip the municipal hospital and bring medical specialties to the region.

In Imperatriz, a large motorcade reinforced Brandão’s candidacy, attended by Governor Carlos Brandão and several federal and state deputies. Meanwhile, in the capital, São Luís, Governor Carlos Brandão, vice-gubernatorial candidate Edivaldo Holanda Júnior, and Orleans Brandão engaged with residents in the Alexandra Tavares residential area and at the Mercado das Tulhas.

Senator Weverton Rocha also intensified his campaign for re-election during São Luís’s anniversary celebrations. Rocha received an endorsement from Santa Luzia Mayor Juscelino Marreca and participated in a motorcycle rally alongside Orleans Brandão and Edivaldo Holanda Júnior to demonstrate political strength in the capital.
