Camilo Pérez holds campaign closing event for Asunción mayoralty

Camilo Pérez, the candidate for the Intendencia of Asunción representing the Asociación Nacional Republicana, has held a campaign closing event to consolidate support ahead of the municipal elections.

The meeting, organized with the support of the Fuerza Republicana movement, included prominent figures such as former Vice President Hugo Velázquez and legislator Luis Pettengill. Pérez emphasized the importance of internal unity within the Partido Colorado to ensure governability in the next municipal term.

During the event, Pérez highlighted his campaign efforts, which included over 160 visits across the 69 neighborhoods of Asunción. He also called for mobilization to support Enrique Wagener’s candidacy for the municipal council, noting that internal projections suggest the potential for obtaining up to 18 seats in the Asunción Municipal Council.
