Polizia di Stato announces maritime training courses

The Italian State Police (Polizia di Stato) has announced the scheduling of the 66th specialization course for Naval Unit Commanders for coastal navigation and the 26th qualification course for Nautical Radar Operators. The training will be held at the State Police Nautical and Diver Center in La Spezia.

A total of 16 positions are available for various roles, including Inspectors, Superintendents, Agents, and Assistants. Specifically, 9 positions are reserved for Agents and Assistants at the Venice Police Headquarters.

Candidates must meet several requirements by October 13, 2026, including a maximum age of 42, a valid ministerial driver's license, physical fitness, and a commitment to serve in the role for at least five years. Selection criteria will also consider preferential titles such as first aid certifications and service within the Fiamme Oro.
