Italian State Police recruitment and training

Overview

The Italian State Police (Polizia di Stato) has implemented several training and recruitment initiatives to bolster its personnel. In August 2026, the 233rd Course of State Police Trainee Agents concluded with a formal oath of loyalty in Peschiera del Garda. These new recruits were deployed to Venice to strengthen territorial control and increase security standards across the city’s streets and canals.
