Prediction markets offer user bonuses for sports trading

Several prediction market platforms are offering promotional bonuses to new users coinciding with major sporting events in late August 2026.

Polymarket is providing various referral incentives, such as a $20 trading bonus for users who deposit at least $10. These promotions are timed to coincide with high-volume trading periods for MLB matchups, including the Yankees vs. Red Sox series, and NFL preseason games like the Jets vs. Giants. The platform allows users to trade on outcomes ranging from sports and politics to financials.

Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated prediction market, is offering a $25 bonus for new users who complete $25 in qualifying trades. This promotion targets NFL preseason matchups, such as the Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos and games involving the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.

ProphetX is also running a promotion for college football Week 0, offering a $20 trading bonus to new customers who deposit and trade a minimum of $10.
