Pomeranian products win six awards at Smaki Regionów 2026

Pomeranian products secured six awards during the 25th edition of the ‘Smaki Regionów’ (Flavors of the Regions) culinary competition held in Poznań. Among the winners was a dish prepared by the Jan Siestrzyński Special Educational and Training Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Wejherowo, which received a ‘Pearl’ award for duck breast with forest aromas, spice mousse, and a cranberry-raspberry reduction.

Other regional winners included traditional sausage from Wyroby Tradycyjne Dolina Powiśla, honey from Miodolandia, Pomeranian gingerbread, Korsarz Gdański beer, and historical digestive drops from Gdańska Wytwórnia Historycznych Smaków. Additionally, several producers received medals from the Poznań International Fair for items such as sea buckthorn cake, smoked sausage, sprats in oil, and Malbork marzipan.
