Pompompurin celebrates 30th anniversary with new merchandise

Sanrio character Pompompurin is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a series of new merchandise releases.

Gakken has released the ‘Pompompurin 30th Anniversary Nonbiri Pompom BOOK’, a commemorative mook featuring a ‘Fuwa Mochi Oshiri Cushion’ designed for relaxation and desk use. The book also includes limited edition mini cards and character profiles.

Additional merchandise includes the ‘Sparkling Gold Party Series’ and the ‘Pompom Hero Series’, which will be available at Munyugurumi Patio starting September 17. These collections feature plush mascots and various accessories themed around gold designs and hero costumes.

Due to weather-related shipping delays, the release of the ‘Pompom Hero Mascot’ set has been rescheduled from September 9 to September 15, though some early sales will take place at select locations including Kinokuniya Bookstore and the Pompom Festival in Yokohama.
