Pontremoli inaugurates community healthcare hub with PNRR funding

The Casa della Comunità in Pontremoli has been officially inaugurated following an investment of approximately 2.35 million euros. The project, funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) along with regional and corporate resources, involved the transformation of the historic Palazzo Mazzini into a socio-sanitary hub.

The 1,000-square-meter facility, spread across two floors, integrates the existing local socio-sanitary district and will provide essential services including family doctors, pediatricians, and specialists. Regional President Eugenio Giani described the structure as a strategic healthcare outpost intended to strengthen public health services for the entire Alta Lunigiana area.
