Pope León XIV's first year inspires book and upcoming documentary
Journalist Almudena Hernández has published a biography titled "León XIV, el león de la paz" that reflects on the first year of Pope Robert Francis Prevost’s pontificate. The book portrays the Pope as calm, reflective and committed to peace, highlighting his outreach to youth, the poor and his calls for an end to violence, while previewing his upcoming visit to Spain.
In parallel, Ábside Media Producciones announced a documentary that will explore the personal and human side of León XIV through first‑hand testimonies from friends, religious figures, journalists and collaborators. The film is being prepared to coincide with the Pope’s trip to Spain, though a release date has not yet been disclosed.
