Pope Leo XIV to visit Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru in November FAST-MOVING

The Vatican has officially released the itinerary for Pope Leo XIV's apostolic tour of Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru, scheduled from November 6 to 17. The Pope, who holds US and Peruvian citizenship, will begin his journey in Uruguay, visiting Montevideo, Paysandú, and Florida.

In Argentina, the Pope will arrive in Buenos Aires on November 8 and stay until November 11. His agenda includes a meeting with President Javier Milei at Casa Rosada, a visit to the Monumento al General San Martín, and a speech at Palacio Libertad. Other key stops include a visit to the Pequeño Cottolengo Don Orione in Claypole, a mass at the Monumento de los Españoles in Palermo, an encounter with the labor sector at the Universidad Católica Argentina, and a visit to a federal penitentiary complex.

In Córdoba, the Pope will preside over a mass at the Military Aviation School. The visit concludes in Peru. The Argentine government is currently evaluating whether to declare public holidays or non-working days in affected localities to accommodate the estimated seven million people expected to participate in various events. A massive security operation is being coordinated across multiple jurisdictions to manage the tour.
