Pope Leo XIV calls for global Rosary prayer for peace

Pope Leo XIV has issued a global call to the Catholic Church to pray the Rosary throughout the month of October for peace and the end of wars. This appeal aligns with the Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) initiative, ‘A Million Children Pray the Rosary,’ which has promoted global prayer for peace and unity for over 20 years.

On October 1, the Pope will join hundreds of children in praying the Rosary at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes within the Vatican Gardens. This act is intended to spiritually connect with families, schools, parishes, and Christian communities worldwide. The ACN global campaign is scheduled to take place from October 1 to October 7, culminating on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.
