Pope Leo XIV greets Regnum Christi missionaries during Rome summer evangelization

About 140 young missionaries from more than a dozen countries took part in Regnum Christi’s International Formators Course in Rome this summer. They conducted street‑evangelization activities on Rome’s busiest pedestrian boulevard, invited passers‑by into the Church of San Marcello al Corso for prayer and Eucharistic adoration, and organised games for local children.

At the end of the Angelus on 19 July at the papal summer residence in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV publicly praised the group, shaking hands with participants such as 15‑year‑old Jack Lebon of Texas and speaking about their shared mission to spread the Gospel. The event highlighted the diverse makeup of the cohort, which included volunteers from the United States, Germany, Poland, Mexico, the Philippines and other nations.
