Pope Leo XIV to visit Argentina in November for apostolic journey
Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to embark on his sixth apostolic journey from November 6 to 17, 2026, covering Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru. During his stay in Argentina from November 8 to 11, the Pontiff will visit Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Luján. This visit marks the first papal trip to Argentina since 1987.

The contest period for registrations runs from August 10 to September 10, 2026. While generative artificial intelligence is permitted for technical tasks such as audio editing, mixing, mastering, and creating instrumental backing tracks, the primary melody, harmony, and structure must be human-created. Furthermore, the use of AI for generating lyrics or cloning voices is strictly prohibited.
The upcoming visit occurs amidst a complex socio-economic climate in Argentina. Local church leaders have emphasized the need for the visit to convey messages of hope and peace, noting that many citizens currently rely on religious institutions for social and economic support.
