Pope Tawadros II Meets Coptic School Leaders in Egypt to Discuss Educational Vision

Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, held a two‑day meeting with legal representatives and directors of Coptic schools at the Logos Center in the Monastery of St Bishoy, Wadi El Natrun. The first‑ever gathering brought together deputies from 35 schools across Egypt’s various dioceses, along with Dean Anba Rafael and the deputy chairman of the General Secretariat of Coptic Orthodox Schools.

During the sessions, participants viewed a video documenting the Secretariat’s activities since its launch in November of the previous year, and the Pope quoted Acts 28:31 to stress that teachers should act as ambassadors of Christ. The meeting concluded with the Secretariat presenting the Pope a commemorative map showing all Coptic schools in Egypt, symbolising the unity and spread of the educational mission.
