Pordenonelegge poetry festival Michel Houellebecq Solvet in Fabella cultural events

The Pordenonelegge poetry festival has announced its 2026 lineup, scheduled to take place from September 16 to 20. The event features several high-profile international literary figures.

Key participants include French author Michel Houellebecq, who will discuss his volume ‘Si perde sempre’, and Scottish poet Carol Ann Duffy, who will present her latest collection ‘Natura’. Other featured international voices include Iranian poet Bita Malakuti, French author Thomas Schlesser, and Korean poets Choi Dongho and Kim Kooseul.

The festival also recognized emerging talent through the Fondazione Pordenonelegge ‘Esordi’ contest, awarding the Chamber of Deputies Representation Prize to authors Alessio Cassera, Flavia Fratini, and Giulia Oglialoro.
