Porsche Cayenne Electric prepares for India debut and performance showcase

Porsche is preparing for the formal market introduction of the Cayenne Electric in India on September 30, 2026. The vehicle features a 113 kWh high-voltage lithium-ion battery and an 800V electrical architecture. The standard Cayenne Electric offers a WLTP driving range of up to 643 km, while the Turbo variant provides higher performance capabilities.

In performance testing, the Cayenne Turbo Electric has been described as the most powerful Porsche ever produced. When utilizing Launch Control, the Turbo model can reach 1,156 PS (approximately 1,139 hp) and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. Testing has recorded a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 2.1 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 9.5 seconds. The vehicle also demonstrates high-performance handling, achieving 1.05 g on the skidpad.

In the Indian market, the Cayenne Electric is priced starting at ₹1.77 crore, with the Cayenne Turbo Electric starting at ₹2.28 crore. Customer deliveries in India are expected during the second half of 2026.
