Porsche Cayenne EV and Lamborghini Urus SE Performante slated for Vietnam in 2026

A wave of premium electric and hybrid vehicles is set to reach Vietnam in 2026. Porsche will introduce the Cayenne EV, the first fully electric flagship SUV for the market, with power outputs ranging from 408 hp to a turbo version exceeding 1,150 hp and prices starting at about 4.72 billion VND. Mercedes-Benz plans to add the CLA electric sedan, priced around 1.70 billion VND, while Audi will launch the S6 e‑tron sports sedan with a 94.9 kWh battery and up to 542 hp. Lexus is preparing to debut the ES 500e, a 338 hp dual‑motor sedan with a 75 kWh pack and 480 km range, and Chinese‑owned Lotus will sell the Emeya and Eletre models, priced from 4.49 billion to 7.19 billion VND.

Other manufacturers are updating existing lines for the region. Mitsubishi has unveiled a mid‑cycle refresh of the Attrage sedan, adding ADAS safety features and targeting rollout across Southeast Asia, including Vietnam. Lamborghini presented the Urus SE Performante, a plug‑in hybrid SUV delivering 810 PS and a 60 km electric‑only range, though pricing has not been disclosed. Suzuki showed a refreshed XL7 Hybrid MPV with minor exterior tweaks while retaining its 1.5 L mild‑hybrid powertrain.

These launches reflect an accelerating shift toward electrified premium vehicles in Vietnam’s auto market, with multiple marques expanding their model portfolios and introducing higher‑performance variants.
