Porsche unveils limited 911 GT3 Bergsport for Alpine markets
Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 Bergsport, a highly exclusive limited edition produced in only 100 units. Developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the model is a tribute to the Alpine mountain climbs and the brand's racing heritage. The vehicle is restricted to sale in only four European countries: Austria, France, Italy, and Switzerland.
Based on the 911 GT3 Touring package, the Bergsport features a Lightweight Package and a six-speed manual transmission to prioritize driver engagement. Technical adaptations for mountain driving include a front-axle lift system for steep inclines and an enlarged 90-liter fuel tank for extended range. Instead of magnesium wheels, it utilizes more durable forged aluminum wheels in White Gold and Ceramica finishes, paired with orange brake calipers inspired by the ‘alpenglow’ phenomenon.
The aesthetic design includes a custom ‘Valleygreenmetallic’ paint developed via the Paint to Sample Plus program. The interior features Valleygreen leather with decorative stitching that mimics mountain peaks. The global premiere is scheduled for September 3, 2026, at the Arosa ClassicCar event in Switzerland.
