Porsche launches Cayenne Electric in Malaysia
Porsche has officially launched the Cayenne Electric in Malaysia, marking the brand's third all-electric model in the country following the Taycan and Macan. The vehicle is available in both standard and Coupé body styles.
Currently, the Cayenne Electric is fully imported (CBU) from the Volkswagen Bratislava Plant in Slovakia. It is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), a platform co-developed with Audi. Due to the large battery requirements, the electric model features a wheelbase of 3,023 mm, which is 128 mm longer than the petrol-powered version.
The lineup includes three main specifications: the standard, the S, and the Turbo. Pricing for the base Cayenne Electric starts at RM699,000, while the Turbo variant reaches up to RM969,999. The Coupé variants are priced higher, starting from RM749,000 for the entry-level model and reaching RM999,999 for the Turbo version.
