Porsche launches electric Taycan Cross Turismo and Cayenne EV models
Porsche has expanded its electric lineup with two new models. The Taycan 4S Cross Turismo is a shooting‑brake‑styled EV that adds considerable practical space – up to 1,212 litres of rear cargo – while retaining the brand’s performance heritage. Its silent propulsion, minimalist interior and adaptable driving dynamics aim to blend everyday usability with the Porsche driving experience.
At the same time, Porsche unveiled the fully electric Cayenne, slated for release in 2026. The model is offered in three power levels: a 300 kW base, a 490 kW S version and an 850 kW Turbo that can sprint from 0‑100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. All variants share a 113 kWh (108 kWh usable) battery and an 800‑volt architecture that supports DC charging of up to 390 kW, enabling an 80 % charge in about 16 minutes. Australian pricing starts at AU$167,800 for the base model and rises to AU$272,100 for the Turbo, with features such as adaptive air suspension, an optional active ride system and high‑performance braking.
