Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica confirms 13 units for 2027

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica (PSCI) has confirmed 13 units of the new 911 Cup for the 2027 season. All confirmed units belong to the 992 generation. The organizer, P21 Motorsport, announced these acquisitions in August 2026, noting that contracts require participation in both the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Eight of these vehicles have been secured by teams, including AF Motorsport, LMR, GT Corse, LOB Motorsport, RGB Racing Team, and NACent Racing. The remaining five units were purchased by individual drivers. The competition will also continue to feature the previous 992.1 GT3 Cup model in 2027, with over ten units expected on the grid.

The new 992.2 generation features a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine producing 520 cv, an increase of 10 cv over its predecessor. Technical specifications include a six-speed sequential transmission, a four-disk racing clutch, and a base weight of approximately 1,288 kg.
