Porsche unveils the new Cayenne Electric SUV lineup

Porsche has officially introduced the Cayenne Electric, marking the first fully electric generation of its iconic SUV model. Unveiled at an event in Los Cabos, the new lineup complements existing combustion and hybrid versions rather than replacing them. The range includes the standard Cayenne Electric and the high-performance Cayenne Turbo Electric.

The Cayenne Turbo Electric is noted as the most powerful production Porsche to date, delivering 1,156 CV and 1,500 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.5 seconds. The standard electric model offers up to 442 CV with Launch Control and a combined range of up to 642 km under the WLTP cycle.

To support these vehicles, Pirelli and Porsche collaborated to develop six custom tire versions using a 100% virtual development process. These tires utilize Pirelli ELECT technology, designed to provide low rolling resistance for increased range, high grip to manage instant torque, and reduced noise for improved acoustic comfort. The selection includes fifth-generation P Zero tires, specialized P Zero R tires for the Turbo model, winter options, and all-season variants.
