Portable ultrasound donated to Santa Maria Nuova Hospital's Vein Surgery unit

A modern portable Esaote ultrasound scanner was donated to the Vein Surgery department of Arcispedale Santa Maria Nuova in Italy by the Sa. Re. Association, chaired by Claudio Pedrazzoli. The device will be used during operations and outpatient visits across several locations, enhancing image quality, diagnostic speed and overall patient care. The department, which performs about 450 surgeries and 5,000 diagnostic procedures each year, thanked departmental head Giuseppe Malchiodi and medical director Laura Cavazzuti for facilitating the contribution. The donation is presented as part of the association’s commitment to public health and technological innovation.
