Porto Velho to reopen renovated Parque Circuito
The City of Porto Velho, through the Urban Development Company (Emdur), is preparing to deliver the first stage of the Parque Circuito revitalization on October 24. The park is currently temporarily closed to allow teams to finalize structural adjustments and prepare the environment for the public.
The renovation includes several modernizations such as new bathrooms, an outdoor gym, a pet space, and improved circulation areas. A primary highlight of the project is the installation of Rondônia’s first interactive fountain, which features 47 water jets.
Mayor Léo Moraes stated that the revitalization aims to expand free leisure options and strengthen the value of public spaces in the capital, providing new amenities for children, youth, adults, and the elderly.
