Rock in Rio 2026 prepares for September festival in Rio de Janeiro

Rock in Rio 2026 is scheduled to take place at the Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro from September 4 to 13. The festival features a diverse lineup including Elton John, Gilberto Gil, Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold, Calvin Harris, and Maroon 5. Logistically, the event relies on digital access via the Quentro app, which is required for ticket activation and entry; printed or screenshotted tickets will not be accepted. Transportation options include integrated MetroRio and BRT services, alongside a premium 'Primeira Classe' bus service.

Economically, the festival serves as a major commercial platform with over 90 partner brands and approximately 400 licensed products. Brand activations include Heineken’s 'The Clinker' smartband technology to connect fans via musical affinity, and iFood’s promotional giveaways.
