Portugal 2030 program execution rate hits 20.8% in July

The execution rate of the Portugal 2030 program reached 20.8% as of the end of July, with a monthly execution rate of only 0.8%. Out of 13.61 billion euros approved, 4.78 billion euros have been executed so far.

Within the program, Pessoas 2030 shows the highest execution rate at 41.1%, while the Compete program maintains the lowest at 7.4%. To prevent the potential loss of 890 million euros due to these delays, the government has implemented reprogramming measures.

Total payments to beneficiaries, including advances, exceed 5.1 billion euros, representing 37.6% of the approved fund. Key investments include professional training, higher education scholarships, employment support, and productive innovation.
