Portugal offers 50% salary subsidies for SMEs in Centro and Alentejo

Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in the Centro and Alentejo regions of Portugal can access subsidies covering 50% of salary costs when hiring new highly qualified professionals.

These incentives are part of the CENTRO 2030 and ALENTEJO 2030 programs, which have a combined total allocation of 13.5 million euros to support business recruitment. Applications for these supports are open until March 31, 2027, with NERSANT providing assistance in identifying these opportunities.
