Portugal polytechnics host workshops on offshore wind and indoor air quality
The Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal organised the "Mar, Água e Energia 2026" workshop, drawing about 70 participants from academia, research centres and industry to discuss offshore wind, geothermal energy and innovative anti‑corrosion technologies for marine renewable‑energy infrastructure.
The Polytechnic Institute of Tomar concluded the EU‑funded Breath IN project with a hybrid workshop presenting results on indoor and outdoor air quality, health impacts, climate change and forest‑fire smoke. The event gathered researchers and experts from Portugal, Greece and Cyprus and highlighted strategies for healthier, more sustainable learning environments.
